Slow Sarcastic Clap for Government to be Introduced on Wednesdays
Along with the reintroduction of Clap for Heroes every Thursday evening the UK public is planning to also introduce a slow, sarcastic clap for the government on Wednesdays.
The slow clap will act as a tribute to their bumbling incompetency’s, u-turns and delays in action whilst dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. Members of the British public are urged to gather on their doorsteps every Wednesday at 7pm to slowly clap in unison whilst putting on their best exasperated facial expressions.
“I can’t wait to give them a demonstration of how truly disappointed I am in them” said Glenda Hutch of Niton.
“I am going to gently tut whilst I do mine” said Nigel Flaxseed, 76 of Godshill. “I’ve always been one for showmanship like that though.”
