Police Given Powers to tell COVID Restriction Rule-Breakers “we aren’t angry, we’re just very disappointed”

The Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, has given the UK Police new powers which will allow them to inform anyone caught breaking COVID-19 restrictions that they are very, very disappointed in them.

As part of the PM’s new steps to address the sharp rises in COVID-19 infection rates he has provided the national police with ground-breaking new powers when dealing with any who are found to be breaching the restrictions in place.

From today all police officers now have the power to inform any individuals caught not complying with the national or local COVID restrictions that they have been very naughty indeed, and that the police officers are not at angry with them, but they are very very disappointed in their behaviour.

It is hoped that this sharp emotional attack will shock the naughty boys and girls into realising what they have done. Officers will additionally be given the power to sit offenders on any nearby step for up to 45minutes or until they sincerely apologise for their bad behaviour.

“We believe these powers will let naughty girls and boys understand what they have done wrong” said PM Boris Johnson. “Furthermore, we will be looking into whether we can remove videogame and TV privileges from those who do not apologise.”
