Cllr David Pugh is Santa Claus, According to his Wikipedia

The Wikipedia entry for David Pugh has undergone some recent changes, unveiling some fantastic secrets about the ex-head of the Isle of Wight council.

According the the Wikipedia article, Mr Pugh did not step-down as head of the Isle of Wight Council because he lost his seat earlier this year in a council election. Mr Pugh was in fact forced to resign his position due to humanitarian commitments.

These commitments are listed on Mr Pughs Wikipedia page under a section titled “Why David Pugh is a good person and why you should hire him and forget my past”. The entry was edited later on in the day to read “forget his past”.

Perhaps most impressive is the revelation that Mr Pugh took up the role of Father Christmas in February 2010.

The entry states:

After several hundreds of years of painstaking labour, Father Christmas decided that it was past time he retired and handed responsibility down to the most morally righteous member of humanity.

Upon his consideration one attractive and debonair warrior for all that is right stood out about the rest: David Pugh.

Not only is he the kindest, most polite and generous member of the human race ever to draw breath (and never did he have any scandals on Youtube, ever). He has not ever featured in Private Eye, or ever faced a vote of no confidence. He is simply an all round amazing bloke.

Also revealed under a section entitled Hobbies and Interests is news that Mr Pugh founded the company Apple under the pseudonym Steve Jobs, that he is next in line to be the Dalai Llama, that Justin Bieber follows him on Twitter, and that African-American civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr. copied his iconic I have a dream speech from the one David made when he was introduced as head of the Isle of Wight Council.

No references are now made on his Wikipedia to PughTube, his education reforms, the 2010 vote of no confidence, his appearances in the magazine Private Eye, or his resignation from Shanklin Town Council.

This is because they never happened though (shh).
