Isle of Wight Facebook Look Back Videos All Blank
As Facebook graces its billions of users in celebration of their 10th anniversary with a 90-second glimpse into the lives of people you have never cared about, Isle of Wight residents are left facing blank screens.
Facebook users across the world have spent the last few days having everything worthwhile in their existence condensed into a one and a half minute video.
Mainlanders have enjoyed poring over these best moments of old friends/lost loves/enemies/that dodgy looking Romanian lady who added you probably to just get a visa but you still accepted her anyway because youre lonely and it increased your friend count.
Facebook users on the Isle of Wight however, have been told they have not done anything noteworthy enough to construct a video of their own.
Following the link to create your own Look Back moments on an Isle of Wight Facebook account directs the user to a playable video, yet once the file reaches Your best moments the video is cut short claiming that footage cannot be found.
“I’m bitterly disappointed”, said Isle of Wight Facebooker, Maude Clatterson. “I’ve posted hundreds of statuses and me-me’s updating the world on the health condition of my five dogs and sixteen cats. I even posted a sepia-tinted photo of my cat Benjy when he had piles. It got seven likes. How dare they say I haven’t done enough to create my own video.”
